This event was as a result of collaboration between the Prince George's County Animal Shelter, the Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center, and the University of Maryland. One of the many Maryland Day 2012 events, Dances with Dogs brought in eight shelter dogs from Prince George's County who were paired with volunteers and the public to participate in a lightly choreographed routine by Maryland Dance Ensemble's Margot Greelee.
These flyers were distributed the day of the event at the Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center, and were used beyond the event by the Shelter for their own publicity purposes.
